That little notch on the side of the reed valve that is for hooking up a vent tube. If you are using one of our DIO engine kits that notch on the side of this reed valve is actually not needed and needs to be completely sealed off. This can be done by silicone or taking a segment of tube and capping It Off. You can also unscrew that Port connection and xxxx in a xxxx with silicone sealer.
