One trick is to make sure all of the linkage and cables are a little bit loose to get everything back in place and then use the adjustments on either end to tighten it all back up. The key there is going to be patients making sure both springs both cylinder shaped parts and all gaskets and screws are in the right place while keeping the cables connected.
If the Springs don't go down all the way inside of the carburetor they will not be able to spring back into place when you let go of the throttle or choke.
