What would the speed difference be between a 44 and a 48 sprocket

You shouldn't notice a drastic speed difference between these two sprockets. The max speed the Zeda 80 engines can go is about 35-40 mph after the break in process is complete. The 48 tooth sprocket will definitely give the engine more power to ride over steep hills.
